Excellent Stability
Ceramic Bearings are 25% harder than conventional steel bearings but are only half the weight. Because frictional wear between the ball bearings and the bearing retainer is significantly reduced the efficiency and durability is significantly increased. (X95L / X95 / X85L / X85)
Microfilter
Microfilter to prevent particles from entering the water spray system to guarantee optimum water spray cooling at all times.
Clean Head System
The Clean Head System has an anti-suck back mechanism that stops blood and foreign matter from entering the head from the oral cavity. As a result, the ball bearings and mechanical parts last longer.
Titanium Body
Titanium body*. Light and very strong pure titanium is used for the body. The light handpiece reduces the burden on the hands during operations, and its enhanced hardness also improves its ability for autoclave sterilization. The biocompatible properties of titanium eliminate concern over allergies to metals.
*Titanium is used only for the exterior parts, and not for the interior.
Quattro Water Spray
The NSK Quattro Water Spray effectively cools the entire surface of the bur with a high cooling effect, leaving no areas untreated.
DURAGRIP
An ergonomic body shape and the introduction of new DURAGRIP coating provide superior grip and handling comfort.
Single Water Spray

Surgical Applications
Disassembling
The DSG20 contra-angle can be disassembled with a simple twist for easy internal cleaning. However, when attached to a motor, it will not disassemble accidentally due to NSK's unique locking mechanism.
Double Sealing System
NSK's original double sealing system reliably prevents blood and bodily fluids from entering the instrument head. This guarantees longevity of the instruments.
Hexagon Chucking System
Hexagon chucking system maintains high bur holding power at a high torque, enabling safe and stable operation. Can be used with regular burs as well.
